Goldberg, and the request has been granted. The move leaves Texas Sen. Ted Cruz with 12 delegates, and New York businessman Donald Trump with 11 delegates.The letter does not spell out why Rubio wants to retain his delegates. A GOP spokesperson says it is unlikely he’ll re-open his presidential bid. The move could, however, influence the delegate count at the party’s national convention in July.last_img
