Kelsey Grammer Shifts Return Dates to Finding Neverland

first_imgBroadway.com has confirmed that Kelsey Grammer is set to return to Finding Neverland slightly earlier than scheduled. The Emmy winner, who originated the role of Charles Frohman in the Broadway.com Audience Choice Award-winning tuner, will now land in the production on January 15, 2016 (instead of January 19) and remain at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre through February 21 (instead of February 28). Leading man Matthew Morrison is scheduled to leave the show on January 24.Before Neverland, Grammer most recently appeared on Broadway in La Cage Aux Folles, earning a Tony nomination for his performance as Georges. His additional Great White Way credits include Macbeth and Othello. He won four Emmy Awards for his performance as the titular radio psychiatrist in the long-running hit series Frasier.Directed by Diane Paulus and featuring a score by Gary Barlow and Eliot Kennedy and a book by James Graham, Finding Neverland follows the story of J.M. Barrie and his relationship with the family of widow Sylvia Llewelyn Davies. Llewelyn Davies’ children eventually became Barrie’s inspiration to write Peter Pan.Along with Morrison as Barrie, the cast presently includes Terrence Mann as Frohman and Laura Michelle Kelly as Llewelyn Davies.
