11 new Limerick speed detection zones

first_imgWhatsApp Print Limerick Artist ‘Willzee’ releases new Music Video – “A Dream of Peace” Email 11 new zones have been identified for GoSafe vans to monitor in LimerickELEVEN new “GoSafe” speed detection locations in Limerick are amongst the 355 new monitoring zones that have been identified by Gardaí in their latest crackdown on speeding drivers.Following a review of the collision analysis of the road network based on the most recent collision statistics some four years after the “GoSafe” programme was launched, Gardai have identified new zones in need of monitoring.Sign up for the weekly Limerick Post newsletter Sign Up “The objective was to identify new speed enforcement zones not currently being monitored as part of the current project and to remove those existing zones which were no longer high risk zones.”By identifying and targeting these high risk areas, Gardai say that the aim is to continue to reduce the number and severity of collisions, thus save more lives and prevent more injuries from occurring.
