Samsung offers up to Rs 6,000 cashback on Galaxy S9, S9+, Note 8 to celebrate Independence day

first_imgSamsung recently announced its latest flagship aka the Galaxy Note 9. The handset is expected to officially launch in India on August 22. Ahead of the launch, and just a day after the global launch at Unpacked event in New York, Samsung announced the India price of the Note 9. Samsung has already started taking pre-orders for Note 9 in India. Alongside the Note 9, Samsung has also announced certain offers on other smartphones like the Galaxy S9, Galaxy Note 8, and Galaxy S8 on the occasion of India’s 72nd Independence Day on Samsung shop. The cashback is available only if customers shop via either HDFC Bank or ICICI Bank cards and will end on August 31. Let’s take a look at the offers.In India, the Galaxy Note 9 has been priced starting at Rs 67,900 for the base model with 6GB of RAM/128GB of storage. The top-end variant with an 8GB/512GB storage will cost Rs 84,900. Samsung has partnered with HDFC Bank to offer cashback offers to customers. Samsung is offering a cashback of Rs 6,000 on making payments with HDFC credit cards. In addition, Note 9 will also come with no-cost EMI option plans with major credit cards. Samsung announced that customers will be able to buy Gear Sport for a price of Rs 4,999 – which originally costs Rs 22,900 — along with the Galaxy Note 9. The Note 9 will be available in three colours in India — Midnight Black, Ocean Blue and Metallic Copper.Besides the Note 9, Samsung is also offering an instant cashback of Rs 5,000 on the Galaxy S9. The South Korean smartphone maker together with HDFC Bank is also offering – just like Note 9 – Rs 6,000 cashback on Galaxy S9. The Galaxy S9 originally sells for Rs 57,900, but after the cashback, the phone can be bought for an effective price of Rs 46,900. The cashback offer is available on both 128GB and 256GB storage version of the S9.advertisementIn addition, the Galaxy S9+ is selling with an instant cashback of Rs 3,000. Like the Note 9 and S9, Samsung has also partnered with HDFC to offer Rs 6,000 cashback on S9+. It is also offering an additional exchange value of up to Rs 6,000 on select smartphones on buying the Galaxy S9 or the Galaxy S9+. The predecessor of the Note 9, the Note 8 is also selling with the HDFC Rs 4,000 cashback offer. There’s also an additional Rs 4,000 discount on exchange offer.Meanwhile, Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+ are selling with an additional exchange discount of Rs 4,000 and Rs 4,000 cashback on buying the phones with HDFC credit card. Both the S8 series of phones are selling with an instant cashback of Rs 4,000. Additionally, Galaxy J6 is selling with an additional cashback of Rs 1,500 on shopping with ICICI Bank credit cards.
