Playing 13-a-side in awful conditions seemed to suit the home side better who had some very strong runners and great movement up front. The boys were physically stronger in almost all areas of the pitch against a very young looking Muff side which had some very handy players and the scoreboard probably reflects harshly on them. In fairness, Na Galloglaigh were superb tonight and were very clinical in front of goal, registering only a handful of wides throughout. The victory puts the boys in a great position to progress from the group provided they pick something up from their remaining group games against MacCumhaills and Buncrana over the next 2 Monday nights. Team: Dane Dunworth, Andreas Afxentiou, Conor Coll, Peter Curran, Ronan Docherty, Oisin Doherty (0-2), Ryan Mcmahon (0-2), Connor Gormley (1-5), Niall Trearty (0-1), Conor Mc Hugh (0-2), Ryan Spike Flood (2-1), Shane McNamee (2-2), Ryan Toye (0-3).
